Idea Engine
Idea Engine ends the blank-planner problem. It surfaces videos in your niche that broke out well beyond their channel’s norm, then helps you turn the best ones into your next upload.
What it is
A discovery-to-production workflow with two parts:
- Discover feed — a feed of breakout videos in your niche, each scored by outlier multiple, view velocity, and how well it fits your channel.
- Idea Vault — a saved collection where you keep, note, and organize the ideas you want to make.
Every idea is grounded in a real video, so you start from evidence a topic can perform — not a guess.

How to use it
Open Idea Engine
Go to Content Planning → Idea Engine in the sidebar.
Build your feed
Generate your Discover feed to surface breakout videos matched to your niche. Sort by biggest breakout, fastest rising, or best fit.
Package a breakout
Open any idea and generate title variations, thumbnail concepts, an outline, and a script draft — a starting point you refine.
Save to the Vault
Save the concepts you like to your Idea Vault, add notes, and organize them so nothing slips away.
Send it to production
Promote a Vault idea into a scheduled plan on your Content Calendar when you’re ready to film.
What you get
- A niche-matched feed of proven breakout videos.
- Outlier, velocity, and channel-fit scoring.
- AI-generated titles, thumbnail concepts, outlines, and scripts.
- A saved Idea Vault with notes and organization.
Limits and plans
Refreshing the breakout feed is limited per plan and on a daily cadence. Saving and organizing ideas in your Vault is always available and isn’t affected by the refresh limit. AI packaging draws on your plan’s usage — see Plans & Pricing and AI Credits.
The daily refresh only rate-limits successful feed builds. If a feed fails or gets stuck, you can retry it right away.
Troubleshooting
- The feed is empty — generate it from the Discover tab; a new channel starts without a feed.
- “Generation timed out” — click Try again to rebuild the feed.
- Ideas don’t fit my channel — make sure your channel niche is set; fit scoring depends on it.
